Mounting the BALDR S is easy with a strong quick release lever. The BALDR S ships with a custom Glock rail installed, but those using it have a 1913. Picatinny rail. Once attached to the gun and before the quick release is tightened, the light can be pushed forward and rested on the rail. Make the final adjustment more specific to the user. Set screws lock the adjustment to prevent inadvertent movement. A smart magnetic charging cable is also included to ensure that the lights are charged by the proprietary 3.7V 380mAh battery. Olight is known to fill the medium gun mount light niche. Well equipped and fully equipped lights at a price that anyone can justify the cost. While not intended for combat, I believe these lights will serve the general gun owner well. Things to remember: The maximum 800 lumens is only available for the first 60 seconds. Before that, it automatically reduces to 300 lumens for the remaining 39 minutes. Therefore, it is important that the battery is charged. The IPX4 rating is also important. This means that the BALDR S is only splash-proof. Despite this minor flaw, it will be mounted on my EDC Glock 19 for now.
