There is no direct military or commercial transportation from JFK to JB MDL. Princeton Air Gatekeeper operates scheduled service from JFK IAP to Newark IAP. From the Newark IAP, travelers heading to JB-MDL can transfer to a New Jersey Transit bus (see NJ Transit bus information mentioned above).

The REM program is measured by achieving cost savings that exceed the annual REM cost, making the contract self-financing on an annual basis. For this project, REM established a baseline average of utility rates for existing operations prior to the implementation of alternative energy sources. As projects are implemented, comparative measurements are made to arrive at total project savings.

SEA REM does all the work itself, with a particular focus on utility cost containment. REM arranged the complete transfer of power supplies to the 99th RC facility. Additionally, a battery optimization project was completed for Building MA048, resulting in direct annual savings of $197,000.
